WHAT: Our beloved "A Christmas Carol" is back and better than ever with an All-Star cast of Legacy performers, we cannot wait to close out our time in Jacksonville with this timeless story of redemption, love, second-chances, and hope.
Charles Dickens’ timeless tale of hope and redemption comes to life in a beautiful new production. Erika LoCurto has adapted this classic tale into a stage production that will leave you saying, "God Bless Us, Everyone!". The story centers on Ebenezer Scrooge, a penny-pinching miser who cares nothing for the people around him, least of all his hopelessly downtrodden employee Bob Cratchit and infectiously optimistic nephew, Fred. On Christmas Eve, after a frightening encounter with the ghost of his deceased business partner, Jacob Marley, Scrooge is visited by three spirits — the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come — who take him on an eye-opening journey to expose the truths he is reluctant to face. This year, Erika has also intertwined "The Gift of the Magi", the classic short story by O. Henry, into "A Christmas Carol".
